Ruth I. RoJohn, 102, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Tetra Rehabilitation Center, McCormick, SC.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Sersland officiating. Inurnment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery.

Ruth was born May 28, 1909 the daughter of Knut and Emma (Larson) Engh in Goldfield, Iowa. She later married Cecil RoJohn on August 10, 1930. The couple owned and operated RoJohn Insulation Company for many years. Over the years Ruth was very active and enjoyed her many church activities. She always looked forward to spring as it was time to plant and work in her garden. As the summer went on she tended and harvested her bountiful crop. Ruth participated in and had active roles in numerous organizations with her husband Cecil during their many years in Fort Dodge. Ruth was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Those thankful for having shared in Ruths life include her daughter Beverly and her husband Leon Sautter, son D. Scott and his wife Kate RoJohn, six grandchildren, Layne, Bryce, James, Edward, Derek, Katrina, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Mrs. RoJohn was preceded in death by her parents, Knut and Emma Engh, husband Cecil, two sisters, Anna Gaston, Emma Olson, four brothers, John, William, Emery and Olin Engh.
