Sandra "Sandi" Ann Neumann

Sandra “Sandi” Ann Neumann, 74, of Manson, IA, died Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, IA.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.  

 

Sandra was born June 4, 1949, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Roger C. and Opal (Roper) Lenz.  She graduated from Manson High School in 1967.  On January 10, 1975, she was united in marriage to Gaylen Neumann at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manson.  Over the years she worked for Harvest Acres, Opportunity Living and ran an in-home daycare.  Sandi was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed painting, crafting, antiques and baking.  Her chocolate chip cookies were the best!  She was the queen of shopping & gardening and had a great love for all animals.  Sandi never forgot a birthday and had a cabinet stocked full of cards.  She will be deeply missed.  

 

Sandi is survived by her husband of 49 years:  Gaylen Neumann of Manson; 3 children:  Roni Yetmar-Henry and husband Paul of Rockwell City, IA, Sean Neumann and wife Ashlee of Manson, and Reagon Jensen and husband Brian of Manson; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great grandchildren; 1 step-great great grandchild; 2 sisters:  Sharon Jondle and husband Don of Manson and Annette Thiessen of Magnolia, TX; sister-in-law:  Marlene Welander and husband Randy of Pomeroy, IA; and brother-in-law:  Merle Neumann of Linn Grove, IA.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents:  Roger and Opal Lenz; mother and father-in-law:  Harold and Luella Neumann; sister-in-law:  Marilyn Dalton, brother-in-law: Harlan Neumann and nephew: Curt Hauser.
