Sharon Kay Phillips, 56, of Fort Dodge, died Friday, April 28, 2006 at the Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, IA.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Grindberg officiating.  Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.  Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Sharon was born April 9, 1950 the daughter of Irving and Gloria (Weiss) Larson in Fort Dodge, IA.  Sharon was baptized and confirmed in the Badger Lutheran Church.  She graduated with the Fort Dodge Senior High Class of 1970.

On July 13, 1973 Sharon was united in marriage to Ronald B. Phillips in Goldfield, IA.  Shortly before her marriage she became employed by what is now USA Health Care.  Sharon had remained a loyal employee with the care facility for 33 years with

the last years doing what she loved and that was cooking.

Sharon was a collector of knick-knacks especially Precious Moments, teddy bears, and angels.  She loved her pet dogs and was very much comforted with there company.  Sharon loved to cook whether at work or home and enjoyed her time spent tending her garden.  Sharon was a member of the St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Fort Dodge, IA.

Those thankful for having shared in Sharons life include her husband; Ron, parents; Irving and Gloria Larson, sisters; Beth Larson of Humboldt, Kim (Andy) Burtt of Rochester, MN, Leslie (Steve) Lehman of Badger, brothers; Steve Larson of San Diego, CA, and Craig (Peggy) Larson of Vincent, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her grandparents; Gus and Nettie Larson, and Louis and Lydia Weiss.
