Trent H. Brown

Trent H. Brown, 13, of Gowrie, IA, died Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at his home. Private family services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.  

Trent Hayden Brown was born April 18, 2010, in Des Moines, IA, the son of Bryan and Nicole (Eral) Brown.  Trent enjoyed watching wrestling and playing with his wrestling figures.  He also enjoyed cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and Miami Dolphins.  Trent was a happy kid who always had a smile on his face – no matter how sick he was.  He made the lives of others better and inspired so many people.  Anyone who met him instantly fell in love with him. He had a heart of gold, and was an angel here on earth.  He will be deeply missed.  

Trent is survived by his parents:  Bryan and Nicole Brown of Gowrie; sister:  Chloe Eral of Gowrie; grandparents:  Diane Eral of Fonda, IA, Ken Brown of Fort Dodge, and Linda Redman of Fort Dodge; aunts & uncles:  Mike Eral and wife Christy of Albert City, IA, Jennifer Braget and husband Ryan of Mason City, and Lori Brown and fiancé Geoff Taylor of Fort Dodge; and Godparents:  Kevin and Kelly Moore of Fort Dodge.  He is also survived by numerous cousins.  

He was preceded in death by his grandfather:  Wes Eral; step-grandfather:  Tom Redman; and cousin:  Ryleigh Moore.
