Tristan Darroll Parker

Tristan D. Parker 17, of Fort Dodge passed away July 19, 2016. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 25, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Dodge with Rev. Austin Hill officiating. Burial will be in the St. Olaf Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 3pm to 6pm at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge. Visitation will continue on Monday one hour prior to services at the church.

 

Tristan Darroll Parker was born prematurely at 27 weeks gestation weighing 2 pounds on July 28, 1998 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines to Darroll Parker and Corrine Brown. Tristan started school in the Manson School District and later moved to Fort Dodge with his father and attended Riverside and Feelhaver Elementary. Tristan was presently a senior at Fort Dodge Senior High. For the past two years he has worked at Wendy's. He enjoyed skate boarding and playing games on his X-Box, especially Halo. Tristan named his car “Phyllis” and enjoyed cruising around town. He will always be remembered for his fun sense of humor, being a good kid and a “great” big brother to his younger siblings.

 

He is survived by his parents; Darroll and Shelley Parker and Corrine and Jason Deeds all of Fort Dodge, his nine siblings; Anastasia Parker, Shelby Parker Jenna Ruth Parker, Nicholas Deeds, Logan Parker, Sadie Deeds, Kate Parker, Allisyn Parker and Lauryn Parker, his grandparents, Terry and Linda Parker, Harlan and Loretta Swanson, Christine Morris, and great grandmother Julia Rieken, a niece Aryana Parker and a nephew Kail McMullen. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: “Auntie Em” Tammy & Michael Becker, Brad and Stephanie Swanson, Ben and Laurie Strandberg, Jasmin Milenberg, Joe and Heidi Brown and Steve and Danette Brown and several great aunts and great uncles and many cousins.

 

 

Tristan was preceded in death by his grandparents Steve and Connie Brown, and his great grandparents including Genevieve Hulett, Ethel Oleson, Edwin Rieken and Dorothy Swanson.
