Troy A. Howey

Troy Howey, 49, of Somers, IA, died Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. 

Troy was born May 6, 1977, in California, the son of Allen and Sharon (Bauer) Howey. He attended school in Texas. Troy enjoyed fishing with his son, working on cars and making things for his family and friends.

Troy is survived by 3 children: Triniti Favretto and husband Josh of Rockford, IL, Taylor Howey of Somers, IA and Jordyn Howey of Fort Dodge; 2 grandchildren: Royce Allen and Jordyn James; his father: Allen Howey and wife Cindy of Somers; mother: Sharon Howey of Seagoville, TX; 3 siblings: John Endsley and wife Kellie of Royse City, TX, Amanda Trant of The Colony, TX, and David Howey of Humboldt, IA. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by grandparents: Mr. Bauer, Raymond Howey and Raymonde Howey.
