Vera Ruth Schnell, 90, of Fort Dodge, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Careage of Fort Dodge.             Graveside rites will be held at 11a.m. Monday at the Oakdale Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa.  There will be no visitation.             Vera was born February 9, 1917 the daughter of Henry W. Nelson and Cora Mae Biddinger in Boone, Iowa.  They moved to Fort Dodge were Vera later graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High.  On February 7, 1937 Vera was united in marriage to Frank Lee Schnell in Fort Dodge.             Vera was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Dodge for many years.             Vera is survived by her brother Harold T. Stewart of Lima, OH and three nephews; Ronald Echelberger, Kenneth Echelberger and Richard Thompson.             Mrs. Schnell was preceded in death by her parents, one sister; Gertrude Long and three step-brothers.             Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
