Verona Kay Fuller

Verona Kay (Jaeschke) Fuller, 89, of Fort Dodge, died Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. According to Verona's wishes, private family services will be held at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home with interment at the Otho Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Verona, the youngest daughter of Herman and Alice (Clutter) Jaeschke, was born October 23, 1931, at the home of her grandparents, Archie and Kathryn Fluke Clutter, located west of Farnhamville, Iowa.

Verona was baptized on Good Friday, April 3, 1942, at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Farnhamville. She was confirmed on Palm Sunday, April 14, 1946, at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Farnhamville. She has been a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge for over 65 years

Verona attended country schools, Cedar Independent and Reading Township, graduating from Rinard Consolidated School on May 17, 1950.

On November 6, 1955, Verona and Charles Fuller were united in marriage at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Farnhamville and made their home in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Verona and Charles had three children, Timothy, Linda and Janet.

Verona worked at Treloar's Inn, Lutheran Hospital, Dr. Walter Feisler, Dr. Boyd Nordmark and Younkers Customer Service Department. She also provided child care in her home for many years and always considered them her “kids”. She built strong relationships with them and kept in contact with many throughout the years.

Verona is survived by her children: Timothy and wife Debra of Fort Dodge, Linda Holtan of Las Vegas, NV and Janet Trammell and husband Odis of Hurst, TX; grandsons: Lucas Fuller of Fort Worth, TX, Connor Holtan and twin brother Cody Holtan of Las Vegas; sister: Roma Fuller of Fort Dodge; sister-in-laws Rosie (Fuller) Johnson, Marg Fuller and brother-in-law Greg Fuller, as well as nieces, nephews and their families. She is also survived by special members of her extended family Lynn Harrold Block and husband Shawn and their children Madeline and Grayson, Matt Harrold and wife Julie and daughter Tristin.

Verona was preceded in death by her husband Charles of 48 years; her parents: Herman and Alice Jaeschke; father and mother-in-law: Clayton and Alice Fuller; and son-in-law: Randy Holtan. Brother-in laws Eugene, Emerson, Michael Fuller and Bud Johnson. And nephew Jerry Fuller.
