Victor Wayne Holcombe

Victor Wayne Holcombe, 51, of Fort Dodge, died Wednesday February 9, 2011 at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. James Laupp officiating.  Visitation will be held from 3 until 5 Friday.

Victor was born August 12, 1959 the son of Robert Harold and Dorothy Lee (Williams) Holcombe in Modesto, California.  On April 29, 1989 Victor was united in marriage to Colleen Olson.

Victor loved motorcycles whether riding his own or watching motocross.  He enjoyed doing wood working projects and drawing.  Victor was good about experimenting with new recipes and concocting his own special dishes in the kitchen.  He also spent hours reading and enjoying a good book.  Victor worked as a horse trainer for a short time before returning to the construction field.

Victor is survived by his wife, Colleen, two children, Leann and Allison Holcombe.

Mr. Holcombe was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael.
