Viola D. Anderson, 91, of Fort Dodge, Iowa died Friday, November 6, 2009 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. John Sersland officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Dodge Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Viola was born April 29, 1918 the daughter of Sam and Caroline (Steinberg) Weaver in Buffalo Center, Iowa. She was raised in Ledyard, Iowa where she also received her education. Viola later married Gilbert Anderson and the couple moved to the Fort Dodge area in 1937. Gilbert and Viola remained around Fort Dodge the rest of their lives.Those thankful for having shared in Violas life include her children: Ronald (Doris) Anderson, Gary (Betty) Anderson, Carolyn (Donald) Woodman, Phyllis (Merle) Faith, Wayne (Kay) Anderson, Keith (Jeannie) Anderson, sisters: Alice Kramsmeir, Marjorie (Earl) Carpenter, eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gilbert, two brothers: Joe and twin brother Victor and two grandchildren.
