Betsie M. Stewart

Betsie M. Stewart, 60, of Fort Dodge, IA passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, at her home.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Betsie was born June 14, 1961, in Florida, the daughter of Ray and Barbara (Friche) Grimes.  She grew up in California and attended school in Paso Robles.  Her family meant the world to her – especially her grandchildren.  Betsie enjoyed painting rocks, flowers, watching her TV shows and a nice bowl of ice cream.  She loved animals and enjoyed watching the birds, squirrels and bunnies.

Betsie is survived by 2 daughters:  Amber Hartley and wife Sarah Luna of Fort Dodge and Barbara Harper of Fort Dodge; 6 grandchildren:  Joseph Hartley, Christian Thorne, Jerromy Parker, Elizabeth Harper, Maddison Harper and Addilynn Harper; 1 great granddaughter:  Penny Hartley; sister:  Pamela Bauske and husband Artie of Paso Robles, CA; and her boyfriend:  Bruce Freese of Fort Dodge.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter:  Ayanna Hartley; and sister:  Anna Kendrick.
