Leonard W. Webb

Leonard W. Webb, 91, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Bickford Assisted Living.  Services will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.

Leonard was born June 2, 1931, in Lohrville, IA, the son of Loren D. and Florence A. (Adams) Webb.  He graduated from Lohrville High School in 1949.  On July 13, 1951, Leonard enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and proudly served his country during the Korean War Conflict until his honorable discharge on June 17, 1955.   Leonard enjoyed trap shooting, taking care of his cat “Miss Kitty”, photography and traveling. He worked in maintenance at Friendship Haven.

Leonard is survived by his children:  Francene Olesen of Lake City, IA, Sheila Berger and husband Joe of Lohrville, Don Olesen and wife Carolyn of Tecumseh, NE, Kristie Svaleson and husband Bob of Holland, MN and Ron Webb of Fort Dodge; and numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son:  Randy Webb; and brother:  Neil Webb.
