Lillian Alice (Titman) Sturtz, 103, of Fort Dodge, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022, at Fort Dodge Health and Rehab Center.  Private family services will be held at a later date with inurnment at Lawn Cemetery in Boxholm, IA.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Lillian was born in Hamilton, Nebraska on February 20, 1919, a daughter to Belle (Coffery) and Victor Titman. She graduated from High School in Nebraska in 1937.  Lillian married Charles (LaVerne) Sturtz on February 6, 1939, where they moved to rural Boxholm and was a house wife and helped work on the family farm.  She enjoyed embroidery, quilting, cooking, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes play and gardening.  Flowers were her passion – especially roses.  Lillian was a member of the Boxholm United Methodist Church where she belonged to church circle.  She was also a member of the 500 Card Club.

Lillian is survived by her daughter:  Betty Miller of Boone, IA and son: Keith Sturtz of Fort Dodge; 2 daughters-in-law: Jackie Sturtz of Humboldt, IA and Sojna Sturtz of Waukee, IA;  brother: Dale Titman of Boone; 8 grandchildren: Scott Sturtz of Palm Beach, FL, Niki and spouse (Nick) Tornabane  of Waukee, Cary Sturtz of Humboldt, Darnell and spouse (Matthew) DeKoter  of Ackley, IA, Shawn Sturtz of Humboldt, Jennell and spouse (Shane) Dean of Boone, Amber Sturtz of Fort Dodge and Ashley Sturtz of Waukee; and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father: Vernon Maynard;  her sister: Viola Sturtz; her husband in 1994; 2 sons: Roger Sturtz and Eugene Sturtz; and a granddaughter.
