Linda Lou Davis, 70, of Fort Dodge, IA, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Select Specialty Hospital in Des Moines, IA. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at the Loomis Park Shelter (N. 7th Street & Loomis Park Drive – Fort Dodge). Inurnment will take place at St. Olaf Cemetery in Fort Dodge at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Linda was born October 27, 1950, in Kasson, MN, the daughter of Icel R. and Ella J. (Mulnix) Davis. Her family moved to Iowa when she was very young, and she made Ft. Dodge her lifetime home and took pride in being a true 'Dodger'. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1969. She liked animals of all kinds, but especially horses and cats. She worked as a vet lab tech for years and delighted in helping the animals that she loved so much. Later in life Linda took much joy in working alongside her son at their cell phone store. Visiting with the customers and helping them gave her great fulfillment. Linda enjoyed fishing, gardening, art, being outdoors and adult coloring. She also delighted in crafting, cross-stitching, and making beautiful Christmas ornaments that she shared with many family members and friends.

Linda is survived by her son: Ryan Davis of Fort Dodge; sister-in-law: Mary Davis of Madison, MN; nieces and nephew: Teresa of Madison, MN, Tony and Tanya of Watertown, SD, and Tiffany of Springfield, SD; cousins: LaVera Meardon Wadzinski, Jerry Gorman, Ray and Gary Cummings. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and two great-great nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her brother: Terry Davis; her parents Icel R. and Ella J.; grandparents: Ira and Waneta Zazel (Young) Mulnix, William and Lillian (Ross) Davis; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
