Nancy L. Nau

Nancy Lee Nau, 90, of West Des Moines, IA and formerly of Fort Dodge, IA, died Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at North Lawn Cemetery (Mausoleum), 2201 N. 15th Street – Fort Dodge, with Rev. John Elkin officiating.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.

Nancy was born November 1, 1932, in Springfield, OH, the daughter of Orville and Mildred (Franklin) Haire.  In 1950, she graduated from High School in Springfield.  She was united in marriage to Robert L. Nau.  Nancy was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, traveling and socializing.  She was a member of her Senior Group.

Nancy is survived by 3 children:  Brad Nau and wife Cindy of Florida, Bryan Nau of West Des Moines, and Diane Nau of Dallas, TX; 3 grandchildren:  Jeremy Nau of West Des Moines, Christopher Nau of West Des Moines, and Joey Hoover of Oklahoma.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1995; son:  Loren Nau; and brother:  Sonny Haire.
